Red Cross in Rochester Deploying Local Volunteer to Oklahoma

Sarah Perkins will conduct disaster assessments in the tornado-damaged region of OK.

ROCHESTER, NY, Tuesday, May 21, 2013—The Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross is deploying a volunteer to Oklahoma City to assist with the aftermath of the tornado.

Sarah Perkins, of Pittsford, will depart tomorrow to serve as a disaster assessment manager. She is available for interviews today from 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Greater Rochester Chapter at 50 Prince Street. Please contact Erin D. Caldwell at 585-370-1834 to arrange for an interview.
