The American Red Cross continues to help those affected by Tuesday’s severe weather and flooding. Volunteers will be distributing clean up kits including mops, buckets, bleach, rubber gloves and more materials residents need as they return to their homes at sites in both Allegany and Chautauqua Counties on Friday, July 17 between 2pm-7pm.

Our partners at the Salvation Army will again be providing meals at the Westfield Central School
As of 4pm on Thursday, 113 clean up kits had been handed out at the Westfield Central School, where a second distribution including meals provided by the Salvation Army is scheduled for 5pm-7pm. Also Thursday, the Brocton Fire Department distributed approximately 80 Red Cross clean up kits, and approximately 60 clean up kits were picked up at the Silver Creek Department of Public Works, 1318 Routes 5 & 20. Silver Creek residents in should call village officials at 934-3240 to schedule a pickup.
