Riverside County Chapter Turns 94

The American Red Cross of Riverside County is turning 94!

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The American Red Cross of Riverside County, which was officially chartered on April 24, 1917, will be turning 94! The Red Cross of Riverside County helps people prevent, prepare, and respond to emergencies throughout Riverside County.

Just within the last 5 years, the American Red Cross of Riverside County Chapter has:

  • Responded to 1,284 local disasters and emergencies
  • Assisted 1,514 families affected by disasters and emergencies
  • Assisted 12,957 people serving in the military
  • Trained 194,849 people into preparedness and health and safety classes (First Aid, CPR, AED, etc.)
  • The chapter holds Blood Drives the first Wednesday of every month from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at the Riverside office. To donate please visit the website at or call us at 1-800-RedCross or at 800-733-2627.
