Salute to Service Gala Helps U.S. Troops and Red Cross

Honorees and guests of Salute to Services Gala
We are honored to have this opportunity to recognize the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for us and our country.

The 2012 Salute to Service Gala was a huge success.

The American Red Cross presented it’s annual “Excellence in Service” Awards to military heroes. The Tiffany Circle Distinguished Woman Warrior Award was presented to Danielle Green-Byrd, new to the Gala program this year.

The 2012 Salute To Service Chairperson was Kay Kapoor, CEO of Accenture U.S. Federal Practice. In the weeks leading up to the event, Linda Mathes, CEO of the American Red Cross, sat down with WashingtonExec to discuss how the Gala has evolved over the past couple years as well as the decision to change the Gala’s name from Fire & Ice to Salute To Service. On hand were Jimmy Smits and Colonel Gregory Gadson was a special guest presenter.
