One year ago, the Santa Cruz County Chapter asked the community for help in purchasing a new tow vehicle. The
Chapter was in need of a heavy-duty vehicle that could tow any of the 10 emergency trailers stationed around the county during a major disaster. Each emergency trailer contains supplies such as water, cots, and disaster relief items.
In the summer of 2012, the Cartwright, Scruggs, Fulton & Walther Law Firm in Santa Cruz, a long-time Red Cross supporter, donated a brand new 2013 Chevrolet tow vehicle to the Chapter.
“We are so grateful for their generosity and leadership to help and support our community,” said Rita Chick, CEO of the Santa Cruz County Chapter.
