KNOXVILLE – November 13, 2012 – Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI), the parent company of HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel and Great American Country, presented a corporate donation of $250,000 to the American Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Along with this corporate donation, Scripps Networks Interactive is matching dollar-for-dollar employee donations to the American Red Cross through its corporate social responsibility program “Change the World.” In addition, Perfect Sense Digital located in Reston, VA, which works with the SNI New York office on various projects, wanted to show their support through SNI as well. So they generously donated $25,000 bringing the total from SNI to $275,000. THANK YOU ALL!!!
