Diana Peterson-More and Mercy T. Steenwyk are joining the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross San Gabriel Pomona Valley Chapter, it was announced today by Ben Green, the chapter’s CEO.
Both bring a wealth of experience in human resources, strategic planning and management to the board.
“We have secured the talents of two incredibly high-power and high-energy women who will bring great depth and resources to our Board,” says Green in making the appointments.
Peterson-More is a labor lawyer and seasoned corporate executive and is President of The Organizational Effectiveness Group and Founder of HRO on the Go. She has 15 years of experience in human resources. In addition to her corporate functions, Peterson-More is a guest lecturer/adjunct professor at various graduate and law schools in Los Angeles.
Before forming OEG, Peterson-More was head of human resources for the Times Mirror Company. And, prior to that, she spent 12 years with the Southern California Edison Company and SCEcorp. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School and undergraduate degree from UCLA.
Steenwyk has over 30 years of professional experience in strategic planning, management, operations, marketing, community relations, publicity and business development. She is the founder, President and CEO of ForensisGroup, a consulting firm. ForensisGroup is one of the 100 largest, women-owned and minority-owned businesses in Los Angeles for the past two years.
Steenwyk received her bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines.
