Riverside, Calif. Wednesday January 15, 2014– After consulting with community partners and confirming that power was restored to the areas affected by the Mission Fire; the American Red Cross closed its shelter at Patriot High School in Jurupa Valley.

The Red Cross will continue to be in contact with those affected by the Mission fire to assist with their immediate needs and long term recovery plans. Red Cross volunteers staffed the shelter and provided displaced residents a safe place to stay, food and emotional support.
