Join the American Red Cross Capital Region on Saturday, October 19 at Black Oak Lanes in Tuolumne for the 8th Annual Bowl-a-Rama! Bowlers of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in this fun afternoon at the lanes for a great cause.
Participants will not only have a great time, they will also be supporting disaster relief efforts of the Red Cross!
Fires, floods and other local disasters strike our community all too often. Whether affecting one family or many, Red Cross volunteers are there to provide comfort and support. In fact, in the Capital Region, volunteers are called to respond to an emergency – on average - once every 16 hours.
In Tuolumne County, the Red Cross most recently operated an evacuation shelter for two weeks, providing assistance to residents evacuated by the Rim Fire.
Details for this year’s Bowl-A-Rama are as follows:
Sign up to bowl, support your favorite bowlers, become an event sponsor, and take part in the silent auction! For registration, sponsorship and event information, please contact Carole Mutzner at the Sonora Red Cross office at (209) 533-1513 or firstname.lastname@example.org
