American Red Cross Helping Three People After Beacon Falls Fire


BEACON FALLS, CONN., SEPTEMBER 11, 2013 – The American Red Cross is helping three adults in two families after a fire Tuesday on South Main Street in Beacon Falls. One adult is receiving help with emergency housing and food needs. Two adults in a second family are receiving help with emergency housing, food and clothing needs.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a family might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire. 

American Red Cross disaster assistance is free of charge, a gift made possible by generous donations and the work of volunteers.
