American Red Cross Helping Eight People After Woonsocket Fire

The Red Cross is helping with emergency housing, food and clothing needs.

WOONSOCKET, R.I., March 16, 2014 – The American Red Cross is helping eight people – five adults and three children in two families – with emergency housing, food and clothing needs after a fire Saturday on Monty Avenue in Woonsocket.

Red Cross volunteers Michael Cote and Paul LaGreca responded to assist the families.

American Red Cross disaster assistance is free of charge, a gift made possible by generous donations and the work of volunteers.
