Greater Chesapeake Region Hosts First Ever Youth Camp

The American Red Cross of the Greater Chesapeake Region is hosting its first ever Youth Camps this summer, made possible by a generous grant from the Aegon Transamerica Foundation! During each camp, children will learn about disaster preparedness, water/swimming safety, first aid, hygiene, and nutrition in a fun and engaging environment. Games, lunches, snacks and social time have also been built into the curriculum!  

Each session is offered free of charge for children between the ages of 8 and 11. Camps take place June 29th through July 4th, July 13th through the 17th, July 27th through the 31st, and August 10th through the 14th. Each session run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greater Chesapeake Region office, located at 4800 Mount Hope Drive, Baltimore, MD 21215. Spots are still available!
