Nurse Assistant Training Program Announces New Class Schedule

Red Cross Chesapeake NAT Schedule
Our Nurse Assistant training course is very fast paced, allowing students to enter the workforce after just four or five weeks.

The Nurse Assistant Training (NAT) program prepares students for a career to become a certified nursing assistant and a geriatric nursing assistant. The course provides the information and skills nurse assistants need to provide quality care for residents in nursing homes, clients at home and patients in hospitals.

Those who successfully complete the course are eligible for a state certifying exam and go on to find jobs in hospitals, long-term care facilities, developmental disabilities homes and in home health care.

The schedule for the next round of classes has been announced. Please note the clinical rotation for all classes are 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Those interested in registering can select from the dates listed below. To register, please call 410-624-2069."
