Beaver Creek Fire Shelter Information
Hailey, ID, August 17, 2013
The Red Cross Shelter is at 1050 Fox Acres Rd. – Near the Airport – In the Community Center
Last night, we had 20 residents with 14 more arriving this morning.
The Shelter provides sleeping cots, Comfort Kits, meals, showers and lavatories, as well as health or mental health support.
While we appreciate the offers, we do not need additional volunteers. The Shelter is staffed with trained Red Cross volunteers who are versed in shelter management and case work.
Some families who have been displaced are staying with friends or family. If you know of someone whose home has been damaged or destroyed, have them call us at 800-853-2570 Option #1 for assistance.
