Red Cross assists multiple families after Clinton fire
The Red Cross also provided hydration and snacks to approximately 60 first responders on the scene.

The Red Cross was called to the scene of a large fire affecting multiple homes at 5:45am this morning (Friday, July 19). The fire, on the square in Clinton, IL, left three families homeless. Volunteers are assisting the families with their immediate disaster caused needs including food and shelter. In addition to assisting the families, the Red Cross also set up canteen services to provide hydration and snacks to approximately 60 first responders battling the blaze.
