The Noble County Community Foundation, Inc. and its supporting organization, Community Initiatives, Inc. recently awarded a grant to the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana for $2,000 to assist with The Pillowcase Project, a preparedness education program that teaches children how to prepare for disasters. The program is sponsored by Disney.
The Pillowcase Project curriculum is structured around three core principles: Learn, Practice and Share. The local program has a goal of reaching 150 children and training them to:
