The American Red Cross held its 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Boylston, Massachusetts on Monday, July 20. The Haven Country Club provided a beautiful location for the event.

Presented by Mary C. DeFeudis, the golf tournament is a signature event which aims to fundraise and support the Red Cross mission of preventing and alleviating human suffering during times of emergency through the support of volunteers and donors.

A beautiful day on the course commenced with morning registration, breakfast, and a warm welcome from Peter Caruso, Chairman of the Board for the Red Cross of Central Massachusetts. The tournament began with a morning round of golf. Lunch was then provided for all in attendance. Afternoon registration initiated the latter round as golfers headed back onto the course, followed by dinner. In total the tournament hosted over 130 players. Prizes were given out to a number of golfers including gift certificates, memorabilia autographed by New England Patriot Stephen Gostkowski, and other items. The tournament concluded with closing remarks from Lisa Piehler, Executive Director of the Red Cross of Central Massachusetts.

We would like to extend a special thanks to all the sponsors who helped to provide support for the event.
