TMI Hospitality, a national hotel developer and management company, is partnering with the American Red Cross Dakotas Region on a large-scale donation program, Rooms for Red Cross. TMI, through Rooms for Red Cross, will donate 120 hotel room nights annually to victims of disasters served by the American Red Cross Dakotas Region. This is the American Red Cross’ first-ever room donation partnership with a national hospitality company.
Rooms will be provided at twelve hotels in four regional markets within the Dakotas Region: Fargo, Bismarck, and Grand Forks (N.D.) and Sioux Falls (S.D.). Brands include Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, Comfort Suites by Choice Hotels, and Home2 Suites by Hilton. The value of the donation is $15,000 annually.
“We are beyond proud to give back to our regional community through Rooms for Red Cross,” said Lauris Molbert, TMI Hospitality CEO. “The American Red Cross is a critically important nonprofit across the United States and we are excited to begin a partnership with them locally. Much like the Red Cross, TMI’s footprint reaches from coast to coast with nearly 200 hotels in 25 states. The possibility exists to extend this program nationally throughout the Red Cross in the coming years.”
“We are delighted TMI Hospitality has stepped up to become our first regional hospitality partner,” said Judy Green, American Red Cross Regional CEO. “Providing families with a safe and comfortable place to stay during an emergency situation is such an important part of our response efforts. We appreciate the commitment in not only Fargo, but in Grand Forks, Sioux Falls, and Bismarck as well.”
