The American Red Cross of West Central Pennsylvania serving Butler County has relocated to an office at the Herman Volunteer Fire Department, 789 Herman Road in Herman, Butler County.
“We’re pleased with our new location and appreciate the efforts of the fire department and Board President Larry Shuler to accommodate our needs and enable us to maintain our presence in Butler County,” said Mary Rogers, executive director of the American Red Cross of West Central PA.
The American Red Cross formerly occupied the building at 312 Mercer Street in Butler for 30 years. The move is part of a long-term strategy that will enable the Red Cross to serve more people in the community in the coming years.
“The Mercer Street building was larger than we needed and costly to maintain,” said Ms. Rogers. “Our new location at the Herman VFD will allow us to save money which will, in turn, permit us to serve more people in Butler County with services such as disaster assistance, preparedness activities and services to military families.”
The mailing address of the new office is P.O. Box 210, Herman, Pa., 16039. The phone number is 724-283-2810.
