July Proves to Be Busy for Eastern Mass Volunteers

July proves to be busy for Eastern Mass volunteers
More than 76 disaster volunteers from the Red Cross gave a helping hand.

It's been a busy month here in Eastern Massachusetts.

Since July 1, Disaster Service volunteers have responded to more than 18 incidents in Massachusetts. The Red Cross has assisted more than 58 families and 195 individuals from communities around the region, including Boston, Arlington, Lawrence, Dracut, New Bedford and more.

More than 76 disaster volunteers from the Red Cross gave a helping hand, providing temporary shelter and food to individuals. Services so far have exceeded $35,000, which has gone to hotel stay, food, clothing and other needs.

Donors have paid for these services, and support all of the programs at the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts. Without their support, we wouldn’t be able to help. To find out how you can help out, visit RedCross.Org/Donate.
