Take a #TeddySelfie and bring hope to a child effected disaster
The American Red Cross of Massachusetts helps people affected by disasters big and small - from house fires to larger events like the Boston Bombings. One symbol of the hope and help the Red Cross brings are the teddy bears we give to children - sometimes even adults, after tragedies. These bears symbolize hope for the children who may have lost all of their toys in the disater. They help alleviate the suffering that our most vulnerable victims of disaster experience.
We are asking you to join the #TeddySelfie movement – take a picture of yourself with a teddy bear and share it on social media using #teddyselfie. Share it with @RedCrossMA on Twitter, and help us spread the word on the hope we bring to children who are effected by disaster everyday.
