BALTIMORE, MD – (January 9, 2014) – The American Red Cross of the Chesapeake Region announced today the hire of Brittany Fowler as the new Regional Communications Manager for the organization.
Fowler previously worked as the Communications and Marketing Manager for Susan G. Komen Maryland®, a local Affiliate of a national breast cancer organization, where she gained extensive experience in media relations, marketing, project management, crisis communications and fundraising. Prior to joining Komen Maryland, Fowler worked for the local Baltimore based public relations agency Weinberg Harris & Associates.

Fowler is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelors of Science in Communications. She is originally from St. Mary’s County, MD and current lives in Baltimore City.
