Germ-X Supports Red Cross Disaster Relief

Red Cross - St. Louis - Germ-X
Without the support of corporations like Germ-X, the Red Cross could not provide emergency relief to our neighbors in need”

ST. LOUIS, MONDAY, JUNE 22, 2015— The American Red Cross is proud to announce Germ-X has pledged to donate $150,000 worth of hand sanitizer for disaster relief operations. With this gift, Germ-X joins Ready 365, a corporate giving society in Eastern Missouri that provides annual support for Red Cross relief efforts.

“Without the support of corporations like Germ-X, the Red Cross could not provide emergency relief to our neighbors in need,” said CEO Cindy Erickson. “Whether a devastating tornado or small home fire, the Red Cross brings immediate assistance every day in this community. Most often that is food, shelter and clothing, and always emotional support during someone’s darkest hour. As a member of the Ready 365 program, Germ-X ensures that 365 days a year Red Cross volunteers and those affected by disasters can be germ-free while facing unsanitary conditions.”

“We are delighted to partner with the American Red Cross as a member of the Ready 365 program in St. Louis,” said Senior Brand Manager Melissa Franklin. “We’re equally proud that Germ-X’s relationship with the Red Cross helps to sustain resilient communities throughout the country through the support of disaster relief.”
