Governor Nixon Joins Red Cross Celebration

Five hundred volunteers and partners from Eastern Missouri attended the private event. The evening also featured the Riverview High School Jazz Ensemble.

ST. LOUIS, FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2015 — Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon joined the American Red Cross of Eastern Missouri for the annual Community Appreciation Celebration. During the event, the Red Cross honored exceptional volunteers and community partners.

Steve Harris of KMOV-TV served as the evening’s emcee. Steve wakes up early to report on News 4 This Morning from 4:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
