LAS VEGAS, NV. January 10, 2014 – On Monday, January 13, all three locations of the Lindo Michoacan restaurants will be donating 50% of their sales for the entire day to support the Southern Nevada Chapter “Fire Hurts…Red Cross Helps”; a campaign that raises money to aid Southern Nevada fire victims in their most critical time of need.
“Lindo Michoacan has been a part of the Las Vegas community for 24 years,” says Javier Barajas, owner of Lindo Michoacan. “We love Las Vegas and feel, as a community, we need to help each other. We are very excited to be working with the Red Cross on such a great cause.”
All three of the Lindo Michoacan locations will be participating with the fundraising event.
Last year, the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada responded an average of every 18 hours to a family who was in need. These families are given the means to purchase food, clothing and shelter after being displaced.
