Red Cross Opens Shelters in West Seneca, Silver Creek

The American Red Cross is here to help.  Please donate today to support relief efforts.
Volunteers will keep shelters open as long as it is deemed necessary.

The American Red Cross of Southwestern New York has opened the following shelter for residents forced to evacuate due to flooding around Sunset Bay:

  • Silver Creek Assembly of God, 1385 Route 20 in Silver Creek
  • Volunteers from the American Red Cross, Serving Erie & Niagara Counties have closed the following shelter for area residents displaced by flooding. The shelter will reopen if further evacuations are necessary:

  • St. John’s Lutheran Church, located at 3512 Clinton Street in West Seneca
  • Volunteers will keep shelters open as long as it is deemed necessary.

    All Red Cross is assistance is free, and we rely on the generosity of the American public to provide these vital services to the community. Anyone wishing to help people affected by fires, flooding or other disasters is asked to consider donating to the Disaster Relief Fund by calling 1-800-REDCROSS, visiting www.redcross.org, or texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to charge a $10 donation to their cell phone bill.
