Red Cross in Contact with WNY/Finger Lakes Emergency Mangers Following Flooding, Ice & Power Outages

The American Red Cross, Western New York/Finger Lakes Regions has been and remains in constant contact with emergency managers from across the 17 Counties in the Region, and has volunteers and shelter locations on standby if requested following the flooding, ice and power outages many areas are currently experiencing.  

The Red Cross did assist 12 people from three families with vouchers for shelter and food due to late afternoon and early morning flooding in the Seneca County village of Waterloo. With weather warnings still in affect for much of the Region Sunday, the Red Cross encourages everyone to visit and for safety and preparedness tips.
