Military Family Salute Brunch April 23

Over the course of a 24 year Army career, Gibson rose to the rank of Colonel and deployed seven times.

The American Red Cross will be hosting a Military Family Salute and Reconnection Brunch on Saturday April 23, from 10:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. at the Montour Falls Moose Lodge. Congressman Chris Gibson will serve as guest speaker.

Over the course of a 24 year Army career, Gibson rose to the rank of Colonel and deployed seven times. He earned the Purple Heart, two Legions of Merit, four Bronze Star Medals, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge with Star, the Master Parachutist Badge and the Ranger Tab.

The Military Family Salute and Reconnection Brunch is for military families, veterans and reservists. In addition to a free brunch, attendees will have an opportunity to meet other local military families, learn about additional Red Cross services, as well as what services are available from other organizations.
