This part time position based out of Jamestown, NY would work through AmeriCorps for the American Red Cross within the community, building networks, training new disaster members, preparing the community for disasters, as well as building on the local organization's partnerships for when the next disaster strikes.
Typically, this position requires 20 hours per week, and will need the flexibility to work occasional evening/weekend events.
Position requires personal reliable transportation. Computer skills as well as public speaking encouraged. It requires the ability to work independently, as well as with others towards desired goals.

Position will run from October 28th through Sept 26, 2014. This is a National Service Program through AmeriCorps for 48 weeks. Additional education award is granted once program hours are completed.
