As a pre-Thanksgiving storm approaches our region, the Red Cross urges Greater New York residents to take the appropriate steps to prepare for severe weather.
The storm is forecasted to bring high winds, heavy rain and possibly snow and freezing rain to parts of our area.
What could make things even more difficult is that the storm will arrive on what is traditionally the busiest travel day of the year.
Please take a look at the links below for Red Cross safety/preparedness tips:
We always encourage everyone to download our American Red Cross preparedness apps that are available for download on iTunes and the Android Store. Read more.
The Greater New York Red Cross stands ready to help anyone adversely affected by the storm. If you need assistance, please call 1-877-REDCROSS (877-733-2767).
