American Red Cross Offers Pet First Aid Training Nov. 18
Pet First Aid Training for cats and dogs includes training on stopping bleeding, splinting broken bones, and treating for poison.

The American Red Cross of Northern New York will host a Pet First Aid Training class for cat and dog owners from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at the Potsdam Humane Society, 17 Madrid Ave., Potsdam.

Pet First Aid Training for cats and dogs includes training on:

• Approaching an injured animal.

• Stopping bleeding, splinting broken bones, and treating for poison.

• Safely transporting an injured pet.

• Creating a pet first aid kit

• How to have a healthy and happy pet.
