This second grade class at Big Walnut Elementary School came up with a creative way to raise money to help others. They made spirit gear for the OSU/Michigan game and sold each piece for one dollar. Products included bracelets, necklaces and wreaths among other items. The students had made a list of charities to consider, and chose the American Red Cross because of our relief work after the typhoon in the Philippines. Pictured above, the young philanthropists pose with their presentation check in the amount of $400.
