Red Cross Responds to Rockspring Road Apartment Fire

Fire Safety

American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio volunteers are assisting three families (3 adults and 4 children) who were displaced by an apartment fire this morning in the 2100 block of Rockspring Road in Toledo. The Red Cross assisted the families with food and lodging and will follow-up to determine any additional disaster needs.

Immediate Red Cross assistance is based on an individual’s needs and typically includes food, clothing, comfort kits, medical or prescription assistance, emotional support and temporary shelter.  In the next few days and weeks, Red Cross volunteers will be available to provide direct assistance for items such as bedding and support with security deposit or rent as the families have need.

You can help people affected by disasters like floods, fires, tornadoes and hurricanes, as well as countless crises at home and around the world, by making a donation to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
