Next week, the American Red Cross Oregon Mountain River Chapter will team up with ServiceMaster for a morning-long event geared to educate and inform the community about how to be prepared for disaster.
WHAT: A morning of disaster preparedness with ServiceMaster employees and local insurance agencies, including a presentation open to the community at large.
WHEN: 7:30 am to 12 pm - Thursday, May 29, 2014
WHERE: ServiceMaster - 20806 Sockeye Place #210, Bend, OR 97701
DETAILS: In a mutually beneficial, fun and informative event, Red Cross preparedness presenters will train ServiceMaster employees the basics of disaster preparedness. These basics aim to assure that employees’ families are primed to care for themselves and each other in the event of a disaster, so that they can continue to go to work to help others in need.
Breakfast will be served and prizes will be provided.
ServiceMaster joins other local companies such as Deschutes Brewery, Bigfoot Beverages, LaPine Health Center and the Madras Linc/Faith Based Network, in these trainings, which are available free from the Red Cross.
