Fourth Annual Roast and Toast Fundraiser to Be Held November 8

oyster roast, lowcountry boil, silent auction and live entertainment for a great cause

The American Red Cross will hold its fourth annual Red Cross Roast and Toast fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Big Red Barn on Chime Bell Church Road in Aiken.  The event, presented by WSI-SRS, will include an oyster roast, a lowcountry boil, beverages, a silent auction and live entertainment by Anybody’s Guess.

The fundraiser, chaired by Leslie Wilson, will support the mission of the American Red Cross.  Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 8 and must be purchased in advance.  Only a few tables remain, so interested individuals should contact the Red Cross at (803) 641-4152 immediately for reservations.

“The community loves the Roast and Toast fundraiser so much that tickets sell out every year,” said Don Cheeks, board chairman, American Red Cross Aiken Area Chapter.  “Not only does the Roast and Toast support the critical services provided by the Red Cross 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, but it also allows friends to gather for great food and entertainment.  This event cannot be missed.”

Generous event sponsors include: WSI-SRS, Bechtel Corporations, Southeastern Tool Company, Chick-fil-A, J.C.’s Seafood, Anybody Guess, Travinia, and Luc and Liz Godard.
