WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA – October 28, 2019 – The Mid-Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to introduce Tina Sweeten as Executive Director.
Sweeten joined the Central Florida team from the Red Cross of Mississippi where she served as Regional Volunteer Services Officer for two years. She began her work with the Red Cross as a youth volunteer in Washington and continued her service over the next 20 years while living in several states.
Sweeten is a graduate of Western Washington University (BA) and Hamline University (MA) and holds a professional designation in Volunteer Administration (CVA). She is married and has an 11-year-old daughter and three dogs.
The Mid-Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross serves Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus and Sumter Counties with offices in Winter Haven, New Port Richey and Leesburg.
