DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – May 9, 2022 – The American Red Cross is pleased to welcome LaTonya Daniel as Executive Director of it's Space Coast Chapter.
Daniel began her career with the Red Cross in 2020 as a Community Volunteer Leader with the Greater Orlando Chapter where she has also worked on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, the Philanthropy Committee and the Sound the Alarm home fire safety initiative.
“My goal is to reenergize this historic Chapter to be a beacon of hope on the Space Coast,” Daniel said. “I love working with a team focused on helping people overcome personal struggles during crises.”
Daniel brings an extensive background in business and customer service, having worked as a licensed realtor for more than 20 years, a railroad crew manager and various project management roles, most recently with Disney.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a MBA in Health Care Administration / Management / Information Technology from Argosy University.
She and her husband Patrick and they have a blended family of four daughters, one son (deceased) and four grandchildren. In addition to her work with the Red Cross, she volunteers time with other human and social services nonprofits.
