The American Red Cross is hosting a Military Family Salute and Reconnection Brunch on Saturday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. at American Legion - James Harvey Spire Post 787, located at 5575 Legionnaire Drive, Cicero.

The keynote speaker is Gary B. Beikirch, a former United States Army Special Forces soldier who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions in the Vietnam War. 

The event is free. In addition to a complementary brunch, guests will have an opportunity to meet other military famlies and to learn about resources and programs from the Red Cross and other community service providers.
