Caseworker Sean Kelly interviewed this resident as they remained in their vehicle. Red Cross photo by Carlos Rodriguez.
Many people do their best work in an office, but for our caseworkers, work is done where it is needed, no matter where that may be. Virginia Red Cross volunteer Sean Kelly is in Clarksville, Tenn. doing mobile outreach where residents had homes that were destroyed or majorly damaged. When disaster strikes, distraught, displaced families often relocate and it is hard to reach them to determine if they are eligible and want assistance. No matter where you may need to meet, our Red Cross workers, like Sean, will be there. If your home was affected by the Dec. 9 tornadoes and need assistance, reach out to us at 1-800-RED CROSS.
