Blood Donor Ambassador: Engage blood donors by greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table.
Blood Transportation Specialist: You will be the critical link between blood donors and blood recipients by delivering blood, platelets, or other blood products to a hospital. *Note: Positions will vary based on location.
Disaster Action Team: Be a part of the team that responds to those affected by disasters such as home fires.
Disaster Recovery Caseworker: Guide those impacted by disasters on their path to recovery by providing resources and support.
Disaster Health Services: Use your licensed healthcare professional skills to meet the healthcare related needs of those impacted by disasters. *Note: Qualified licenses include RN, LPN, LVN, EMT, Paramedic, MD, DO, PA, NP, and APRN
Shelter Volunteer: When disasters strike and people are displaced from their home, you can be the shelter in the storm. Shelter volunteers work directly with residents to ensure their basic needs are met as well as help them access additional services. If you are a calm and compassionate person, this is the opportunity for you.Join today and start your training. This way you can be ready to respond when the next major disaster strikes.
Feeding Volunteer: Serve as a member of a temporary work unit on a disaster relief operation to successfully complete their assigned areas of responsibility on a disaster relief operation. They ensure food safety and proper food service in a variety of work locations while supervising workers throughout the cycle of the disaster.
Workshop Facilitator: Facilitate workshops for military, veterans and their families designed to teach communication and coping skills. *Note: Requires master’s level mental health degree
Military Treatment Facility Volunteer: This position supports the Regional Service to the Armed Forces department. Provide assistance with tasks in a clinical setting; support staff in a variety of direct and indirect patient care activities as well as enhance the morale of patients.
Restoring Family Links Volunteer: Restoring Family Links Caseworkers provide services to people who have been separated from their family members in another country due to armed conflict, international migration, disasters, or other humanitarian emergencies.
