The fourth annual American Red Cross Giving Day is on Wednesday March 28, 2018. Giving Day takes place in March during Red Cross Month, a time to recognize heroes who help those in need in their community all year round.
Yes, you don’t have to wait until Giving Day to help families in urgent need. You can donate starting on February 12, 2018. You will receive a confirmation receipt to the email address provided when you completed your donation. Your donation will appear in the total amount raised on the website on Giving Day, March 28, 2018.
Giving Day is an opportunity for local communities to come together on one day to help the families who have been impacted by a home fire or other disaster and who urgently need Red Cross services to get back on their feet.

Yes, your gift is tax deductible. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that will serve as your receipt for tax purposes.

You can get involved in two main ways:

1. You can make a financial donation on Giving Day. A gift of $88.50 can provide a family with a day’s worth of food, plus blankets and other essentials. Donations made on this website for Red Cross Giving Day will be used for Red Cross Disaster Relief which supports disasters big and small, including home fires.
