Where Your Money Goes

A Devastating Start to 2016

Since the start of 2016, together we have responded to 10 large scale disasters including historic flooding in West Virginia and Texas and wildfires in California.

The American Red Cross helps people in need every single day, not just during large disasters. With your ongoing support, we will continue to be there providing people in crisis with relief for today and hope for tomorrow.

Thank You For Bringing Hope in 2015

No two days, weeks or years are the same at the Red Cross because so much of what we do depends on the needs of the people we serve. Here are some examples of what the generosity of our donors allowed us to achieve in 2015.
In 2015, the American Red Cross responded to 176 large disasters in the U.S.
Even though more people hear about large disasters like wildfires and floods, the biggest disaster threat in the United States is home fires. Through the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign, we’ve been able to make a difference.
As part of the world’s largest humanitarian network, we worked alongside other Red Cross and Red Crescent societies in 2015, helping people all over the world affected by disasters.

Thank you for bringing hope to those in need.
