News Story: Disaster Volunteers Train to Help Others
In March, around 200 volunteers attended our annual Disaster Training Institute in Groton. They participated in a variety of trainings to ensure our teams are ready to help in times of need, both here in Connecticut and across the country.

At just 10 years old, Terri Blake lost her home to a fire. The Red Cross provided memorable care and support, including a stuffed pony that became her cherished treasure. Now, 50 years later, Terri is a volunteer who helps those facing similar tragedy.
