Youth and Young Adults

The American Red Cross North Florida Region’s multi-faceted Youth and Young Adult program comprises of both Red Cross Clubs organized at high schools, colleges and universities, and community centers throughout the region, and opportunities for individual volunteering in many of the Red Cross Lines of Service.

Being a Red Cross Youth and Young Adult member builds character and provides the tools and experience needed for attaining strong leadership, communication, and community service skills, all while working to accomplish the Red Cross mission.

All Youth and Young Adult volunteers must register online, and for those under the age of 18, must receive consent from their parent or guardian before starting their journey with the organization.

Red Cross Clubs

Red Cross Clubs are officially recognized organizations on school campuses led by students. Club members serve their community through service, education, and leadership as volunteers of the American Red Cross. Red Cross Clubs participate in activities that align with the Red Cross’s humanitarian mission by holding regular service projects and leadership training throughout the school year to benefit members and their community.

All Red Cross clubs work with the support and guidance of their local Chapter, and plan and execute service projects and fundraising events. Club service projects follow the Red Cross’s five Lines of Service.

Internship Opportunities

The American Red Cross North Florida Region offers undergraduate and graduate students an engaging internship experience.
