The American Red Cross is hosting a Military Family Salute and Reconnection Bunch on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at the Vestal American Legion located at 118 South Jensen Road.
The event is free for all military families, active duty service members, veterans, reservists and agency partners. In addition to a complimentary brunch, attendees will have an opportunity to meet other local military families, learn about additional Red Cross services, as well as what services are available from other organizations.
The keynote speaker is Retired Lt. Col. Glen Graham, who served as a helicopter pilot for the United States Marine Corps. During his military career, he had the honor of piloting Marine One, serving Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. After retiring from the military, he flew for Guthrie Air where he piloted hundreds of emergency and hospital transfer missions.
