Disaster Action Team

Every 8 minutes the Red Cross responds to a disaster and it’s the compassionate volunteers, who make our mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering possible.  When you become a volunteer, you’re helping to turn tragedy into hope.

Shelter Worker Trainee

Make sure families don't face tough times alone. Compassionate and committed individuals needed to support sheltering efforts this disaster season. 

Blood Donor Ambassador

Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.  The need for blood is constant and so is the need for volunteers at our Blood Drives to help save lives.

Blood Transportation Specialist 

You can play a critical role in saving millions of lives as a Blood Transportation Specialist in the Durham, Cary and Raleigh area. Deliver lifesaving blood products from collection sites to labs and hospitals and make a difference today!
