The American Red Cross Serving Central Texas invites community members to join us for the second annual Austin Refugee Day Festival and Soccer Tournament on Saturday, May 6th from 11 AM - 4 PM at the Onion Creek Soccer Complex (5600 E William Cannon Dr. Austin, TX 78744).
This free event is open to the public and will be a fun park day for the community! It will include a 7-on-7 soccer tournament with a cash prize, kids’ activities including inflatables like a Velcro wall and bounce house, carnival games for prizes, face painting and more.
The Gourdough’s food truck will be onsite offering a lunch menu and delicious doughnuts.
Information and resource booths will also be set up so attendees can learn more about refugee services and resources in Central Texas.
People are encouraged to attend as a volunteer, soccer tournament participant, or to simply enjoy the festivities. To sign up to volunteer, please visit this link.
