The Coastal Virginia chapter hosted a series of 1-hour virtual community education programs to increase awareness of blood diversity challenges and health disparities in our African American community. 

This Central Virginia Chapter event recognized those remarkable heroes in our area who saved a life, performed an act of courage, or who unselfishly serve and give inspirational leadership to our community, while also raising much needed funds to continue the American Red Cross mission of providing disaster relief to those in their darkest hour.
