The National Youth Council Presents the 2025 Summer Series

School may be out, but service is still in! The Red Cross Summer Series campaign is a resource for staying connected, making an impact, and having fun all from wherever summer takes you. Whether you’re leading a club or just getting started as a volunteer, these virtual events will help you grow your skills, meet other youth leaders, and discover how you can make a difference year-round.

☀️ The Impact of Blood Donation

📅 June 18 | 7pm ET

Blood can’t be manufactured, it has to come from donors like YOU! Learn how blood donations support patients with sickle cell disease, cancer, and other critical conditions, and explore the role youth can play in promoting health equity.    

☀️ Volunteer 101: Find Your Path with the Red Cross

📅 June 25 | 8pm ET

Not sure how to get involved with the Red Cross? This session will walk you through volunteer opportunities, feature youth sharing their own journeys, and help you discover where your passions fit in.    

☀️ Disaster Relief Starts with You(th)  

📅 July 9 | ypm ET

Disaster doesn’t wait for the school year—and neither do youth volunteers. Hear real stories from responders and design your own summer preparedness activity to make an impact right where you are.
