DENVER, Colo. (Sept. 25, 2025) —The American Red Cross of Colorado and Wyoming proudly announces the appointment of Andrea Miller as its new chief executive officer, ushering in a new era of leadership and community impact. As CEO, Miller will lead a dedicated staff and volunteer team serving more than 6.5 million people across 201,907 square miles in Colorado and Wyoming. Regional services include disaster relief and preparedness, lifesaving CPR and first aid training, international services, support for military members, veterans and their families, and blood collection. Headquartered in Denver, the region also includes chapters/offices in Loveland, Grand Junction, Durango, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Cheyenne and Wright, Wyo., ready to deliver comfort and hope in times of crisis.
"I'm excited and honored to join the American Red Cross and lead such a passionate, dedicated team," said Miller. "Every day, the Red Cross brings hope, support and lifesaving services to communities. I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and work with our incredible volunteers, partners and neighbors to make a real impact across Colorado and Wyoming."
Miller brings a wealth of experience in corporate, nonprofit and civic leadership that makes her especially suited for this mission driven role. Before joining the Red Cross, she served as director of environmental, social and governance (ESG) at Delta Dental of Colorado, where she led efforts to integrate sustainability, ethics and community impact into business strategy. Miller earned a Master's in Public Administration and an undergraduate degree from Illinois State University, and she has more than 20 years of experience spanning the public, nonprofit and corporate sectors.

Her leadership and service extend deeply into the community. Miller currently serves as chair of the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce and is the immediate past chair of B:CIVIC, an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on Mile High United Way's United for Business Committee. She has been recognized through Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation's Leadership Denver, was named a Colorado Governor's Fellow in 2023-24 and received the 2023 Brian Smith Award for Outstanding Community Leadership from Mile High United Way.

With Miller at the helm, we are excited about the potential and future for the Red Cross of Colorado and Wyoming.
